Enterprise Productivity Management (EPM) has a powerful new tool

Newport Beach, California -- December 1, 2006 -- AZTEC PACIFICTM announces enRevTM, the first seamless revenue-capture software that eliminates "guess-timated" and forgotten billing.

Tracking work is a pain in many, if not most industries; it requires valuable employee time, and is frequently inaccurate, and is generally unverifiable. For enterprises where groups or individuals work for more than one client, the problems are multiplied many times over.

"As a contractor working for several different clients at a time", says Reed Fisher, innovator and co-inventor of the software, "I felt as if I forgot about 20-25% of all the work I did for my clients, either the quantity of work done or that the work was done at all. The phone would ring or someone would stop by, and I would take care of the issue before continuing with my work in progress. The upshot was that I either never billed the 'off-the-cuff' work or forgot how much time was spent."

These and other difficulties relating to billable work are shared by people in the legal profession, by advertising and public relations, artists, architects, insurance and medical management and agents, writers, technical services, financial services, and many others.

"The problem of accurately capturing all billable efforts was not easy to solve," Said Vinayak Sathe, co-inventor. "While a simple 'proof-of-concept' was quickly produced, actually getting accurate records in a multiple-application/multiple-file work environment, the way most of us work, proved quite a bit more difficult." The solution, however, resulted in patents being filed for the critical processes.

enRevTM allows people to concentrate on their work without worrying about the mundane chore of tracking thier work. It includes a "stopwatch" functionality for tracking activities not otherwise accounted for, and manual entry for still more flexibility.

Users/enterprises may pre-enter their client and matter or project data or simply enter it as work is done. No special directory or file folder organization is required; users can work in the way they normally work.

The system aggregates time per file and tracks whether some or all the time spent working on a particular file has been billed. An "actual" time record is kept, and when the work is billed, each record is presented in the user's preferred "billing unit" - typically 1/10 of an hour for attorneys, for example.

The data are collected into a relational database and are extensive in the number of categories. Users select the columns of data they wish to see and export, however, and may edit the work data before a final export for billing.

enRev keeps track of new files before they are saved, and properly tracks work on older files created before enRev is installed, without having to move or copy files or structure the directories/folders where files are kept. It allows work records to be annotated; allowing a narrative to be kept on the file.

The system recognizes periods of inactivity and allows users complete flexibility in handling idle time; attach it all to the file, attach part to the file and some to other billable or non-billable activities, attach part to some other billable activity and the rest as non-billable -- these are just some of the options.

The result of the intensive development effort is an easy-to-use and powerful system that requires little if any user orientation yet accurately captures time spent working in one or more files and/or one or more applications for one or more clients and matters/projects. This time data can then be incorporated as the user or enterprise sees fit; create accurate and verifiable billings, monitor productivity, or analyze work habits and efficiency. The data may be exported to existing time sheet forms and/or billing software whether web-based or Windows® application based. The Service Oriented Architecture of enRev lends itself to seamless integration into just about any existing system without changing vendors and without disrupting work flow or practices.
